Kelley Hensing
Kelley's artwork is inspired by the mysterious. She grew up in a house by the woods, spending much of her time going on adventures into the wilderness. Her images portray dreams, fears and fables, while seeking to transcend a world of chaos. Her visual language combines nature, spirituality and archetypal figures to form her own narratives both beautiful and symoblic.
Kelley has been a freelance artist for 30 years, creating paintings and drawings along with a variety of unique projects. When not working in her studio she's often traveling with her art booth, favorites including: the IX Art Show, Dragon Con, The Oddities Flea Market NYC, Columbus Art Festival, and the St James Court Art Show, among many others.
Her first major show was in 2014 with Last Rites Gallery, NYC. She also participates in group shows with Lovetts Gallery, the Mazza Museum, the A.R. Mitchell Museum, online gallery Every Day Original, and at a number of other group shows and venues around the country.
