Original cover art for another in the famous Dell series of books, this one from 1978. In acrylic and oil on canvas with partial overlay, a HUGE 48" x 30" and unsigned. (The piece can be signed upon request when purchased.) Note the extra image of the verso - Richard appears to have decided to copy a Velázquez painting and utilized the verso of this canvas to do so. NOTE: This piece has some slight damage as well as an overlay that is partially missing.
