Description

Sumatran rhinos are critically endangered. They are also the smallest rhino species and the only Asian rhino with 2 horns. There may be fewer than 80 individuals in the wild, which makes me cry as I type this. Their biggest threat is habitat destruction, habitat degradation, and habitat fragmentation. The last sumatran rhino in Borneo passed away in 2019. They are actually the closest living relative of the Wooly rhino. For more info, please visit rhinos.org.
