When there was an oil spill in Huntington Beach and we were seeing tar on the beach all the way down in San Diego it got me thinking about how bad we are for the environment once again. When I'm out surfing I constantly find balloons and food packaging and other garbage. Anchovies are one of the more common fish I see around here. So we extract the oil to run machines to process the fish, transport the fish, create the packaging for the fish and spill it to ruin their habitat.
