Description
Illustration of the below scene from Sivoa:SunriseThe library was massive. A segmented triple helix that reached up into infinity and pierced the sky with its translucent glass and metal. Ivory and gold, the library practically glowed from the soft light that filtered in through the top.
Each level was a rounded shelf circling the inside of the spire’s outer wall. On these shelves were innumerable sets of bookcases that radiated outward from the spire’s open center. Every floor was dotted with three equidistant and round platforms that jutted out into the void. These balconies were connected from level to level by three golden rails that spiraled upward and out of sight through the center of the tower, but they did not provide a means of travel. In fact, it looked impossible to reach the other floors.
