Description

This is a hand-cranked automata sculpture piece.
A gorgeous tiny Kingfisher flies over the river... all you need to do is turn the handle!
The bird is created from clay, cloth and card, each tiny feather has been painted and then layered on the wing base, the body of the bird then carefully painted with the beautiful turquoise, rust, white and black markings Kingfisher's are known for.
The base of the piece is created around a metal canister that has been overworked with clay, wires, and tiny pieces of cloth. This has then been painted and extra mixed media flowers added.
