Description

Born from equal parts rage and devotion, this painting confronts the predation of the working class by those perched at the top. The figure embodies the tension of holding a world together while it tries to pull you apart. It’s also a tribute to my decades as a “wall dog” muralist/sign painter, where art meets hard labor, and every job demands both muscle and vision.

This is what it feels like to work with your hands, your heart, and your sanity on the line. Reconciling what is essentially a shamanistic act with the reality of bills, deadlines, and hustle culture. Fitting a spiral peg into a square hole, day after day.
