ANTHONY PALUMBO was born in Michigan in 1980, and from childhood was fixated on science fiction, comic books, and making art. After studying traditional painting technique at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, he began showing paintings in galleries in 2002, with an emphasis on figurative work and realism. In 2008, he began illustrating for Wizards of the Coast—which marked the beginning of his career as a freelance science fiction and fantasy illustrator. Since then, he's continued to work steadily for Wizards, Dark Horse Comics, IFC Films, and other clients in the science fiction and fantasy realm.
