Nasa Tsuchiya

Nasa, a full-time tattoo artist, was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. From a young age, her fascination with the distinctive aesthetics of anime and manga set her on a creative journey. Originally aspiring to become a professional cartoonist, her passion for the fine arts led her to develop a unique and personal style.

Upon relocating to New York, Nasa embarked on a dedicated path of artistic development. She studied classic fine art under the guidance of accomplished portraitist Brandon Soloff, furthering her skills at institutions like The Art Students League of New York and the National Academy School of Fine Arts.

Her artistic inspiration remains deeply rooted in her childhood love for anime and manga, which continues to influence her distinct stylistic approach. Today, she masterfully paints her subjects using oil, employing traditional techniques with a pronounced illustrative flair. Her art beautifully bridges the worlds of fine art and anime, creating a captivating fusion of style and substance.
