Description

"Sentinel" was birthed from a moment of open exploration and a connection from one human to another. For me, it captures a moment of confidence and strength in one's own stance and convictions to their internal guiding light. It is the lighthouse rooted in our connection between self and other and stands as a beacon and protector of these qualities within ourselves. Much like the tarot give us meaning through archetype and symbol, I hope the sentinel acts in this way too.
The creation of this painting brought about many tangents of meaning aside from its source, as I hope it will for many of you. I look forward to hearing how it has impacted you.
