This is a 'hand-cranked' automata sculpture piece.
A tiny sleeping kitten on a plush velvet cushion breathes as she dreams... all you need to do is turn the handle!
The kitten is created from clay and cloth, carefully painted to add details. The box has been painted in black and gold, with little supports to keep the lid open. Tiny hand made tassels of gold thread decorate each corner.
